'A player is allowed to place his or her feet firmly in taking a stance, ...' That doesn't sound like all you did ' ...but is in breach of Rule 8.1a if he or she alters the ground where the stance will be taken ...' Well you certainly did that ' .... if altering the ground improves the area of intended stance.' If it didn't, why did you do it? Certainly seems to fit the bill for a breach What the pros may or may not do means nothing, witness tamping grass down behind ball, leaving ball as backstop

Nope we are in the US and both have Garmin GPS watches that track every shot and record the distance. He has always been a good athlete and pretty strong. He hits his 3 wood about 10 to 20 yards further than my driver and I avg 267. He started taking lessons at the end of last summer and is finally starting to hit his irons a bit better but he still goes through spurts of hitting it off the heal which sends it straight to the right, usually out of bounds or into the water 🙂 I am the opposite, I struggle with my driver, but hit my irons better than most.

Letting my trail arm 'fly' has been a great thing for my game. What's important is that I don't try to 'place' the right arm higher, it's synced with my pivot. I'd film the swing first though to confirm it's actually tucked. Trail elbow might have nothing to do the distance lose. With the younger guys now, I'd say it's the opposite.

Model Reviewed: callaway erc fusion. This is a great driver for a great price. The only problem is it is not very forgiving. It took me a little while to get used to but now im launching it 240 straight down the fairway. Overall you should buy this driver but be prepared to take some time to hit it well.
